Mojdeh Saleh

Born and raised in Tehran, Iran as a child I was immersed in the country’s rich heritage and appreciation of art and music. I started my private art studies as a teenager and after moving to California in 1979, completed my formal training at San Jose State University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. After 18 dynamic and successful years in the Advertising and Design world, I turned to the private sector to pursue my passion for oil on canvas. My extensive traditional training yielded realistic and impressionistic paintings. My most recent work is with acrylic paint and I refer to it as 'Intuitive Painting'.

You will find the process of creating healing an empowering. I have spent the last 20 years exploring art and philosophy. I have acquired knowledge, tools and techniques to create art mindfully and freely without expectation. I created “Off The Wall Artist” as a platform to share my experience with artists and non artists. You too can experience self expression, fulfillment, joy and become the observer of your thoughts and emotions.
